Fantastic stuff Coach. Can’t wait for the one-handed backhand!

ADMIN: Adam, thanks for your words, hang in there, 1-handed BH coming out soon! :-)

Really good info; wish I lived in Tiburon so I could take a few lessons from Mauro, he really has a knack for outlining the mechanics of a stroke. I’ve been playing for three years and absolutely struggling to hit any sort of reliable top spin forehand now I’m going to see if I can use some of Mauro’s pointers to try and finally get this damn stroke down.

ADMIN: Kyle, I hope that now you can “master” your forehand topspin! :-)

Great video. I would also be very much interested to learn on the footwork of getting away from a ball coming directly to me and then hitting an attacking shot. That’s far more complex body movement. Can you, please, cover this in your next video?
    thnx.

ADMIN: Vlg, until our video covering jammers comes out, try using a “very quick 1st step”!!

I have tried and will continue the back wrist action and the the head still part, that’s not natural for me, but necessary I know. Am working on all, now I have to impliment the use of both hand to make myself turn and then the follow through, I have been using you serve tatics and so far so good don’t have the power I want yet, but i’m working on all these ideas, and thank you. ADMIN: Jack, keep up the good work amigo, it’ll pay-off for sure!! – Coach Mauro
